All prospective IFC speakers are required to complete an IFC Proposal Form by 1st December 2008 in order to be considered for selection at the 29th IFC in 2009. Please note we do not accept proposals submitted in any other formats, including copies of previous conference presentations or copies of presenters’ CVs.

Selection criteria

The IFC Advisory Board selects speakers for the IFC programme from a mix of proposals and speakers that have been noticed for their outstanding performance in fundraising and presenting their ideas.

If you would like to apply to be a workshop speaker at the 29th IFC, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Be able to fluently and confidently deliver a session in English
  2. Have previous conference speaking experience and provide proof of evaluation results
  3. Have attended the IFC in the past (in order to demonstrate your familiarity with the event)

Ideally, you should also:

  1. Demonstrate expertise in your chosen field
  2. Provide evidence of cutting edge/brand new content

If you meet the above criteria and wish to apply, click here to fill in the proposal form for workshops.

In order to ensure high quality of Masterclasses at the event, we only take Masterclass proposals from previous IFC speakers. If you meet this criteria and wish to apply, please click here to fill in the proposal form for Masterclasses.

Please note we are actively looking for speakers outside the UK and US as well as fundraising practitioners. For more information on our selection procedure, please download our IFC programme selection procedure below.
