With a background in marketing and events, Amy began her career in the charity sector in 2017 when she joined the challenge events team at the Bone Cancer Research Trust. As Challenge Events Fundraising Manager, Amy has since diversified the charity’s portfolio of challenges, seeing it double in size. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic the charity adopted a new approach to fundraising and Amy led the team in implementing and delivering virtual challenges through Facebook, resulting in the charity’s most successful year to date. Having effectively delivered 6 Facebook challenges in the last 10 months, and with plans to deliver more, Amy has extensive knowledge of how to successfully run virtual challenges, achieving high ROI and supporter acquisition, through Facebook.
