Sharon Olang (Kenya)
Livelihoods Programme Coordinator, Kenya Community Development FoundationSharon Olang is a development Practitioner with a Strong background in grants management and capacity building for grass root organizations on local resource mobilization. She currently serves as a resource person for the Change the Game Academy programme, that seeks to equip grass root organizations with the knowledge and skills to harness local resources. She has supported 96 organizations across Africa to reflect on strategies to diversify their resource base, and take charge of their own development agenda and amplify the citizen Voice. Sharon has worked her way up from championing community initiatives, to seating on Boards (Kids Care Kenya and Innovations for Change Africa Hub (I4C) of local and international organizations providing strategic guidance on resource mobilization. She is passionate about emerging trends in resource mobilization that reduce the barriers between funders and community groups while enhancing community engagement.
