Anna Crago (Thailand)
Regional Partnerships Specialist, UNICEFAnna has worked in the non-profit area for 10 years, with a long-term specialization in major gifts. In Australia she raised money for the environment, and for international water and sanitation projects. At UNICEF in Geneva she worked globally to build capacity in major donor fundraising and has been directly involved in raising more than $20m in pledges for UNICEF. Alongside this, she recently completed a Masters of Applied Anthropology and Participatory Development, fuelled by an interest in human behaviour and a blithe disregard for sleep.
With a background as a book publisher, Anna also has a strong grasp on marketable narrative, creating a vision and how to deal with tense negotiations — all useful skills for a major donor fundraiser. Anna is currently based in Bangkok as UNICEF’s regional partnerships specialist, working across the Asia-Pacific region.
