She has increased the income at Refuge in community and events ten-fold in three years, driving new and innovative events through the pandemic year through Facebook, and pushing for change in her programme’s diversity. Gabi, who entered the sector nine years ago as a community fundraiser, prides herself in collaborative working. She also enjoys baking, being a cat mum, being in nature, and championing mental heath.
