Mario is a creative Internationalist interested in social change, communication and politics. He currently works as Digital Campaigner for the Americas with IS of Amnesty International articulating digital campaigns for social change and citizen participation. Formerly he worked as the project manager and mobilization leader of El Avispero, in charge of the creation and coordination of the campaigns in the digital platform for citizen participation of Movilizatorio, a Purpose incubation. Mario was linked for more than 3 years as co-founder of the digital platform Change.org in Colombia and was the heart of the success of many mobilization campaigns and social change developed in this country and in Latin America. He also participated for more than 5 years in the social sector, in the design and management of development and peacebuilding projects. He has also worked in the design of strategies, research, and development of youth leadership workshops, and in monitoring and evaluation of projects for the Argentine Network of International Cooperation. Mario holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations and International Law from the University of Buenos Aires (2013) and is an Internationalist from the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University (2009). He is Colombian and speaks Spanish, English, and Portuguese.
