Marta is a digital engagement specialist with more than 8 years’ experience. Her background combines design with international relations and human rights; and she has built a career in membership organisations, particularly non-profits. Mara joined Amnesty International three years ago, and currently manages a small team to inspire, develop and mobilise an active community of 2.5 million supporters and members all around the world to exert pressure on decision-makers and effect change. Marta is passionate about empowering people, telling their stories, and elevating their voices. Her previous life as a designer also means that she really strives to give people a unique first-class experience and loves a good challenge.
