Prof. Jen Shang is a Philanthropic Psychologist and Director of Research at the Hartsook Centre for Sustainable Philanthropy at Plymouth Business School. Her research and teaching focuses on understanding how giving money makes people feel and why. Her work has been covered in BBC, Guardian, New York Times, Civil Society, the Third Sector, the Chronicle of Philanthropy, Nonprofit Times, and Advancing Philanthropy. She is the author of Fundraising: Principles and Practice.
