Eelco Keij (USA)

Eelco Keij has over 15 years of experience working in the international development sector as a consultant, fundraising strategist, trainer, and advocacy specialist. He has worked for UNDP and UN Women and has spent the past 10 years as a New York-based independent fundraising consultant within the field of US foundations that give international grants.

Between 2015 and 2018 Eelco headed the department of Fundraising and Development at Radboud University in the Netherlands, focusing on planned giving and crowdfunding. Residing again in New York City, he currently is a full time foundations and corporations manager with the Rainforest Alliance.

Eelco received his degree in law from the University of Nijmegen in the Netherlands, the College of Europe in Poland, and Columbia Law School in the US. He is both a Dutch and US citizen.
