Helena Sharpstone is a learning and development specialist, executive and team coach, action learning facilitator, mentor, writer, and a regular speaker at business conferences. She started her career in sales and sales management (and will always be a salesperson at heart!) and then slid in to training, developing people, and managing teams in a number of commercial settings before a 7-year stint at Help the Aged changed the course of her career forever.

Together with Caryn Skinner, and since 1997, she has run the leadership and team development training company Sharpstone Skinner. Helena’s special areas of interest include leading teams, personal effectiveness, and communicating with impact. Helena believes it shouldn’t be all about work and that a helping of volunteering is good for the soul. She has supported charities fighting FGM, hygiene poverty, and feeding health workers during the pandemic. Helena lives in London with her family, 27 different types of chilli plants (long story), and two totally entitled cats.
