Maria Butera

Head of Digital, Save the Children Spain

Maria started working in Knowledge Management in 2000 in assurance and consulting firms, where she worked and learnt about intranets, information architecture and management. In 2007 Maria started managing web projects in UNICEF and kept on learning about other digital “stuff”: email marketing, web analytics, UX,… and digital fundraising. She discovered her passion for digital was driven by its power to enable data driven decision making and to change organizations and society. In 2014 she joined Save the Children to lead the digital engagement and fundraising team.
