Sean Panton

Co-Chairman and Director of Corporate Social Responsibility, Marriott Thailand Business Council; Founder and CEO, SEEK Phuket

Sean has spent most of his life travelling the world and working in the sports, hospitality and CSR-related industries. He has spent the past 22 years in Asia and is currently residing in Phuket, Thailand working as the Co-Chairman and Director of Corporate Social Responsibility for the Marriott Thailand Business Council and the Founder and CEO of SEEK Phuket. As the co-chair of the Thailand Business Council, Sean develops CSR programs that are multi-faceted, shared value and flexible, which allows integration of all aspects of social responsibility including outreach programming for corporate groups who wish to experience CSR for themselves. Sean has been working for the past three years to develop engaging and meaningful programs that complement the Marriott corporate CSR strategy. Guest, associate and community engagement are paramount for the programming, and Sean’s all-inclusive, can-do attitude with a strong corporate teambuilding background has manifested into three strategic partnerships — the IUCN for environmental purposes, Save the Children for humanitarian programs, and a Marriott Hospitality pre-vocation training program at the Yaowawit Orphanage in Phang Nga.
