Sreejith Nedumpully

Director, Business Development, Upaya Social Ventures

As director of business development at Upaya Social Ventures, Sreejith oversees the organization’s LiftUP Project, an incubator program that provides seed-stage equity and business development advisory support to entrepreneurs with the potential to be large-scale employers in extremely poor communities. Sreejith brings to Upaya more than 12 years of experience in entrepreneurship and SME promotion, including five years as co-founder and managing director of ROPE International, a premium brand of natural, handmade lifestyle products from renewable materials. In addition, he was earlier involved with small and medium-sized enterprise incubation initiatives with the TeNeT Group at IIT Madras and Villgro Innovations Foundation. Sreejith started his career with the micro finance program of DHAN Foundation and has been a consultant to Business and Finance Consulting GmbH Zurich, Women on Wings, the Sir Ratan Tata Trust, and Simpa Networks.
