Mary Margaret is the Senior Executive Director of Development at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she leads a team of UNC Medicine major gift officers focused on supporting the mission of UNC School of Medicine and UNC Hospitals. Mary Margaret’s own portfolio is comprised of new and longstanding giving relationships with individuals, corporate entities, and foundations interested in supporting global healthcare. Her ultimate goal is to secure resources that will better the delivery of healthcare in sub-Saharan Africa and in other parts of the world where the University has developed a footprint. Mary Margaret attended the IFC in 2018 and greatly enjoyed the strategic presentations along with the camaraderie that is characteristic of the conference. Mary Margaret received her degree in International Affairs from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, spent over 10 years in international banking, and interned for the Peace Corps early in her career.
