Holding a Ph.D. in Political Science, Nirma has a rich work experience of more than 8 years. Starting off as a teacher of Political Science, Nirma moved to the social impact sector five years ago. Prior to joining the Resource Alliance India office, she worked with PAIRVI – the advocacy arm of The Centre for Community Economics and Development Consultants Society (CECOEDECON). A prolific writer, her articles have been published in national and international journals as well as business magazines.
Nirma is passionate about the ‘Good Food’ drive, and actively promotes organic food produced by farmers, especially from tribal areas. She loves painting and sketching and in all probability will be found at the easel in her spare time.
