Shawn moved from Atlanta, Georgia to Cape Town, South Africa in 2014 to work with the Ubuntu Football Academy. He had been raising funds informally for Ubuntu, but in 2016 he decided to take on a more serious role by increasing his education through the Resource Alliance and the IFC. Shawn is now the Partner Relations Manager, helping to create and facilitate new partnerships on every level, from corporates to major donors to monthly giving.
