Valerio Melandri

Valerio Melandri is a consultant, trainer and educator in fundraising. He is a professor at the University of Bologna and Columbia University, teaching the ‘Principles and Techniques of Fundraising’. He is director of the Masters in Fundraising, University of Bologna. He is director of Philanthropy Research Centre, a centre for research, training and consultancy, based at the University of Bologna. He is the founder of The Festival of Fundraising, the 4° biggest conference about fundraising in the world. He has published various books on fundraising (his last book “Melandri Fundraising” was translated in 4 languages) and he is the creator and promoter of the first Italian internet portal and blog on fundraising.
