Resource Alliance Organises International Study Tour for Fundraisers

In April 2007, the Resource Alliance provided a unique opportunity for Indian fundraisers to see for themselves how some of the UK’s biggest NGOs run their campaigns in a programme conceptualised jointly with GiveIndia and subsidised by the Ford Foundation.

11 individuals from NGOs across India were selected to travel to London and spend a week observing fundraising techniques and interacting with teams that work on cutting edge fundraising campaigns. 

The intention was that this exposure and experience sharing would help participants bring new ideas and best practices back into India and implement them locally.
