Overview:
We give in the charitable sector. We give our money, time, and energy, sometimes to the point of feeling absolutely spent. But if we don’t take care of ourselves, how can we continue to be change-makers in the world? A Japanese concept called ikigai, or “life’s purpose”, may hold some of the answers. In this session, we will explore how to define your life vision, assess where you are now, develop an action plan, and prioritise yourself in your already busy life. The session will be delivered in three parts: 1) defining ikigai; 2) defining your vision and assessing yourself now; and 3) creating a plan of action to move toward ikigai.

Overview:
This session will take the audience through how Ecosia responded to the COVID crisis, finding a way to shift our core business during a global crisis to remain relevant and to help in whatever way that we can. We’ll cover how we delivered a video-led campaign across paid and organic social, YouTube, Press, editorial and more. The format will be delivered as a timeline, showcasing the lean project team’s ideation of a concept, asset collection during a lockdown, content creation during a shelter in place order and to an audience that was overwhelmed with love for their healthcare heroes, and wanted to do even more to show their love.
Aimed at:
Digital fundraisers, social media managers and team leaders looking to see how a small organisation can have a big impact by being reactive, digital-first and empathetic to their audience.
