Colin Habberton is Cofounder and Director of the Relativ Group, an impact solutions provider based in Cape Town, South Africa, with subsidiaries in Canada and New Zealand serving investors, corporates, social enterprises, foundations, government agencies, and nonprofits in over 35 countries. His PhD research focused on the decision-making dynamics of institutional investors towards responsible investing. Through academic research and professional practice, Colin and his multi-disciplinary global team have focused on building tools, processes, and plans to serve organisations and their decision-makers to identify manage and amplify their impact for more than 15 years.
Colin has contributed to a variety of industry and media reviews and has presented at conferences across the world on impact management, finance, analytics, decision-making, fundraising, and strategic communications and the perspectives they bring to business and social systems.
Colin serves on the boards of for-profit and nonprofit purpose-driven organisations including The Resource Alliance in the UK, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and Commerce in the UK; a Fellow of the Institute of Directors in South Africa; a member of the Institute of Directors in New Zealand; a member of the Advisory Committee of the ESG Exchange; Co-Chair of the South African Chapter of Catalyst 2030; and a long-serving Endeavor mentor.
