Emily Wigney is a senior fundraiser and marketer with almost two decades of experience in marketing planning, brand positioning, audience growth and product development. With over ten years in the consumer marketing world, Emily entered the not-for-profit sector almost a decade ago determined to use her skills to make a positive contribution to humanity. Over the decade Emily has worked with some of the most high-profile charities in Australia including World Vision and Cancer Council and has led growth in legacy campaigns including child sponsorship, 40 Hour Famine and Biggest Morning Tea.
In 2020 Emily joined Oxfam Australia as the Head of Supporter Activation and is responsible for brand, content and communications and the growth of revenue and supporters in public fundraising.
Emily is passionate about marketing and fundraising strategy informed by data and audience insights and draws on design thinking, emerging technology and behavioural insights to make change happen. Emily lives in Melbourne where she studied both Arts (English) and Business (Marketing).
