An experienced financial services professional, Rina Soni made a conscious decision to shift from the corporate world to the development sector after 18 years. In 2014, she joined Oxfam India to head up their fundraising, leading the public engagement function and steering the organisation to use the collective skills and knowledge of its campaigners, communicators, and fundraisers. This led to an increase in the influence of the organisation and to the growth of its fundraising and engagement.

In July of 2021, Rina joined HelpAge India, where she is Country Head – Resource Mobilisation & Marketing.
