Rob Shaw (Spain)

Rob is a specialist arts, culture and heritage sector fundraiser, with over 20 years experience in his field. He began his career in London in the late 90s as part of the small team that launched Face to Face Fundraising in the UK. Since then, Rob has worked in senior roles for some of the UK’s leading cultural institutions, including Eureka! The National Children’s Museum, Manchester Camerata Chamber Orchestra and the Science Museum Group. After a year’s sabbatical in 2015 spent circumnavigating the Mediterranean in a campervan with his young family, he settled in Spain and began working as a consultant, and now works independently, as an Associate Consultant with Bernard Ross’ =mc consulting, and as a Programme Leader on the renowned National Arts Fundraising School. His specialisms are: Decision Science, corporate giving, and fundraising strategy development. Rob’s current and recent clients include theatre companies 20 Stories High and Red Ladder, Central Saint Martins School of Art & Design, The Bluecoat arts centre in Liverpool and Hull City of Culture 2017 legacy company Absolutely Cultured.
