Ruth Wicks is a highly experienced, senior, career fundraiser who has worked in Australia and the UK for both small organisations, working to build fundraising programs from scratch and large global not for profits leading the strategic development of multi–million dollar programs.

Ruth has recently started working as a Senior Consultant with More Strategic; a fundraising and marketing consultant specialising in insight driven strategy.

Before joining Martin, Gavin and the team at More Strategic Ruth spent 8 years at Amnesty International Australia, the last 5 as Fundraising Manager, and in her time saw income grow from $20 to $30million.

Ruth’s areas of expertise include mass marketing individual giving acquisition, development and retention as well as events, bequests and middle donor management.

Ruth holds a passionate commitment to raising the bar of professional fundraising so as a sector we can raise more money, have more impact and continue to change the world.
