Sarah Moore (UK)

Director of Development, Sumatran Orangutan Society

Sarah has over two decades of experience in fundraising, communications and partnership management. She has a passion for grass-roots social justice, protecting the planet and most of all for trees. At Tree Aid, she secured their first-ever, six-figure corporate partnership with RPS for the Bongo River Trees Project, which won best Charity Partnership at the Business Charity Awards.  At Avon Wildlife Trust she supported the team to transition from costly corporate ‘volunteering’ to income generating ‘employee engagement’, connecting local and national businesses, including M&S, JLM and Ecosurety, to make a difference for local wildlife and employee wellbeing. Since joining SOS as Development Director in October 2021, Sarah has worked with Remarkable Partnerships to grow their six-figure, global #forestbathing partnership with Lush to help protect and connect the unique rainforest in northern Sumatra so rare, wild orangutans can thrive in resilient forests.
