Emmanuel joined Airbnb in September 2016 as Managing Director based in Paris. He represents a community of millions of French hosts and guests, oversees Airbnb’s engagement with local NGOs as part of the Open Homes programme, and coordinates the engagement of Airbnb’s Natural Disaster Response programme in the region.
Before joining Airbnb, Emmanuel led one of Facebook’s business divisions for two years. He was also previously regional VP at Groupon. Emmanuel began his career as a manager for the Perfume and Cosmetics division of LVMH in Africa before joining Roland Berger as a consultant for four years, where he advised numerous companies in the travel and tourism sphere. Emmanuel graduated from EM Lyon Business School.
