Femke Spoor

VSO (Netherlands)

Femke is the community & events fundraiser at VSO NL. She seeks out roles that align with her goal to actively contribute to a better world. With internships at two major international non-profit organisations and hands-on experience living and working at one of Southern Africa’s largest conservation organisations, she has collected a broad range of skills in her young career thus far. Working for VSO NL has allowed her to demonstrate her passion for NGO work and has given her the drive to stand up and be counted in the fundraising sector. She is now combining her love of the outdoors and showing off projects by providing fundraising tactics and campaigns that raise awareness in a dynamic and exciting manner. Organising active challenge events to support projects that give greater exposure to a wider audience than traditional fundraising methods. Uniting people to raise funds and awareness for a common vision, whilst contributing in the fight against inequality and poverty, is a value close to her heart.
