Jon Duschinsky

Director, The Invisible Hand Company

Jon is a social innovator and cage-rattler. He challenges the status quo, gleefully instigating disruptive change and re-writing intra-organizational narratives by tackling the well-worn story of profits over people.

Drawing on over 20 years’ experience as a fundraiser, Jon now works with Fortune 500 companies, start-ups, governments and causes to develop authentic strategies that engage communities through participatory actions.

He has a broad and diverse work portfolio and has founded a number of successful companies in the social innovation space. He recently led a project with the White House on behaviour change and gun control, and was one of the team behind the Ice Bucket Challenge. As founder of the think-tank Invisible Hand, he and his team develop radical solutions to complex problems like the rise of childhood obesity or the spread of Alzheimer’s disease. And his most recent venture, Oreka Solutions, is an incubator for cutting edge technologies that can deliver systemic environmental or social change.

Jon’s energy and passion shine through in his insightful and personable speaking style. He is the author of two books, “Philanthropy in a Flat World” (2008) and “(me)volution” (2012).
