Trevor May

Trevor May began his career with Marriott in 1992 at Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa, working in the finance discipline before crossing over to Sales and Marketing as the Director of Transient Sales. Moving back to the finance discipline he took on his first Director of Finance role at the Sydney Marriott in 1998. In 1999, Trevor moved to Thailand as Group Director of Finance for Bangkok, Pattaya and Hua Hin Marriott Hotels, where he successfully led the conversion of three hotels which were rebranded from Royal Garden Resorts to Marriott Hotels. In 2001, he was part of the pre-opening team as the Joint Venture Director of Finance at JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa and opened the first fully integrated resort in Asia, including the Marriott Vacation Club in Phuket. From May 2006 to June 2011 Trevor held the position as Cluster Director of Finance for the JW Marriott Bangkok, Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok, Renaissance Koh Samui, and the three Marriott Executive Apartments in Bangkok (Mayfair, Sathorn Vista and Sukhumvit Park). From July 2011 to February 2014 as Director of Project Zenith, he led the project teams that visited 25 hotels in Asia Pacific to enhance and improve the financial results to owners. In his most recent role Trevor was appointed as General Manager at the Rayong Marriott Resort & Spa in March 2014.
