Director of Partnerships

Based in Berlin Germany, Melody is the founder of dogoodhere.org, a network of professionals delivering design labs to foster collaboration and connectivity in the social sector. Combining data science and design thinking, Melody uses data-driven and empathy-based methodology to help build capacity for nonprofits to be versatile, diverse, and sustainable.

Melody is a current MBA faculty teaching member in design thinking at the Berlin International University. As a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), her fundraising career spans over seventeen years and multiple sectors including arts, education, health, animal welfare, and wildlife conservation. Her areas of expertise includes major gift fundraising, prospect management, sponsorship, and international fundraising. Since 2018, Melody has been a senior fundraising consultant, formerly associated with Global Philanthropic (UK) and Vitreo Group (Canada) and specialised in international fundraising, prospect management, nonprofit management, and crypto philanthropy. Melody is a former committee member for IDEA (Inclusion Diversity Equity Access) and the International Development Committee for the Association for Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Global. She is a former board member of the Association for Professional Researchers in Advancement (APRA) Canada, and is an active speaker and educator with APRA Canada, APRA International, China Association for Fundraising Professionals, AFP Global, and the International Fundraising Congress.
