Mastering Strategic Impact

Discover the power of simplicity using the strategy map approach.

Using just a single sheet of paper, the strategy map approach allows you to facilitate the development and delivery of your strategy. This practical masterclass will introduce you to an approach that is radically different from other strategy models and offers a profound insight into your business model, combining what you want to achieve and how you will achieve it. As a result, your plan will be both easy to understand and easy to explain to different stakeholders, including your board, staff, and supporters.

The strategy map approach is used by 60% of the world’s top companies and builds on the balanced scorecard (BSC) model, which makes it flexible in responding to changes in the fundraising environment and context. During the session, you will have the chance to bring a case study from your own work and/or contribute to a map as part of a group, and you will explore how to apply the strategy map to your organisation at any level (team, department/division, or the organistion as a whole).

This masterclass is for those who have never used this approach and want to try something challenging to start thinking deeply about strategy, as well as for anyone who has use the BSC model before but has struggled to gain real traction with it.
