Activist and fundraiser

Since 2019, 11-year-old activist and fundraiser Rui Jie believes in the power of using her voice to help others and has raised almost USD $500,000 for a variety of different causes, from Singapore’s SPCA to The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund to help feed hungry children during the pandemic.

She is a passionate volunteer for K9Assistance and CARE Singapore, participating in the filming of public education videos and distributing items to people in need. She focuses her efforts on charities that advocate for women & children’s issues, food security, and people with disabilities.

Rui Jie was a finalist in the Singapore President’s Volunteerism and Philanthropy Award 2021 and was recently selected by Cartoon Network to be the voice of Singaporean children in the network’s Redraw your World campaign.
