John is currently the COO at GIVE.asia, a crowdfunding start-up for social causes. GIVE.asia is now the largest personal crowdfunding platform in Singapore.

In 2018, the Singaporean President awarded GIVE.asia the Finalist nomination for Social Enterprise of the Year.

In 2019, the United Nations honored GIVE.asia as a winner of the World Summit Awards for most innovative application of digital content in Government and Citizen Engagement.

Previously, John worked as a financial analyst for the Sharpe Group, a corporate wealth management team at BofA Merrill Lynch based in Houston, Texas. Forbes listed the Sharpe Group as the #1 wealth management team in Texas.
