Cofounder and National Coordinator, Word Smash Poetry; spoken word artist; Youth Giving Summit Ambassador

Vanessa is the Cofounder and National Coordinator of Word Smash Poetry, a movement that encourages creative free expression among Southern African youth artivists and promotes social pan-Africanism. Along with her leadership role with Word Smash Poetry, Vanessa is a spoken word artist, Moremi Initiative Leadership Empowerment and Development Program (MILEAD) Fellow, and a YALI regional alumnus.
