Wajiha has been a part of the development sector for 15 years as a communication and management strategist. She has a passion for storytelling that she used to bridge the gap between the non-profits partners she worked with and corporations wanting to do good.
As part of a pioneering social enterprise platform developing nonprofit fundraising models, she had the opportunity to work closely with non-profits in multiple causes. She has worked with multiple organisations all over Pakistan as a board member and advisor, innovating, tackling major social issues and offering new ideas for wide-scale change. She has originated concepts for the needs of those who serve and those who deserve.
Wajiha is also the co-founder of a social enterprise dedicated to corporate social responsibility. She has worked with multiple national and international corporations, as well as foundations, by helping them create a wider impact. She has also written & read papers on social enterprise and the dynamics of corporate response to philanthropy at Oxford University, London in collaboration with London South Bank University. She is also part of a coalition of social enterprises working to train the upcoming generation of fundraisers, where she has worked with teams of five non-profits.
