Nikita Kulachenkov

In 2013, I was an investigator for the Anti-Corruption Foundation, one of Russia’s most prominent NGOs. Politically motivated persecution forced me out of my homeland, and I received asylum in Lithuania. Today, I serve as a director of the Center for Transparency and Accountability. This NGO focuses on supporting various civil initiatives in Russia, including anti-corruption investigations, formulating strategy and tactics for long-term development of Russia, and disseminating information on Russian democratic opposition and its fight for democracy and government accountability to the Western audience.
